Utilizing her civil engineering background and experience, Hannah Schartiger focuses on public contracting and construction litigation for public agency clients. An associate in Best Best & Krieger LLP’s San Diego office, Hannah assists clients in drafting contracts, public contract procurement, bid protests, prevailing wage law, the California False Claims Act, construction claims, surety disputes and more.
Hannah has more than seven years of experience working as a civil engineer in the construction of public facilities. Prior to practicing law, she worked for Naval Facilities Engineering Command and a Top 40 Construction Management consulting firm.
Hannah earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Virginia Tech, where she was a Vecellio Scholar and a member of Chi Epsilon honor society. She also earned a master’s in civil engineering with a concentration in construction engineering and management. Her graduate research focused on resource-based scheduling. Hannah graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law.
